Our UL 891 Trailhead Series commercial switchboards are designed for rapid project deployment and are specialized to meet EUSERC utility standards.
Ranging from 400 to 1200 amps, and available in Type 1 and Type 3R enclosures, these switchboards are perfect for projects that need metering such as schools, shopping centers, warehouses, and commercial offices.
Custom solutions are also available, up to 4000 amps.
UL 891 Compliant Switchboards
We offer EUSERC utility metering sections and merchandised switchboards, in addition to customized switchboard solutions.
Our lowest-amperage switchboard, merchandised from

Product Information
APPLICATION
Suitable for use as service entrance equipment on AC systems, our sections contain metering compartments, barriers, main disconnects, distribution panels, neutral buses, and grounding provisions.
METERING
The C/T metering compartment comes with two configurable, 15-inch meter doors or a single 30-inch dual-meter door. Door selection is dependent on EUSERC utility.
Connections over 800 amps are hard-bussed.
MAIN
The main breaker provides the following amperage options: 400, 800, or 1200. 1200A breakers offer optional advanced electronic trip units and neutral C/T devices. We also offer bolted pressure switches as main disconnect devices, up to 1200 amps.
BRANCHES
The distribution bus is rated up to 1200 amps and provides up to 66x of mounting space for 15A - 800A circuit breakers.
For solar applications, a back-fed MCCB configuration is available with an additional bolt-style disconnect.
ENCLOSURE
The enclosure (front accessible only) is finished with a lovely ANSI 49 gray powder coat (or see our color customization options​). The dimensions (H x W x D) are as follows:
